A: It's a pre-paid card that allows you to purchase membership from a retail outlet. The card is redeemed on runescape.com to unlock the length of time of membership that is displayed on the card.

A shop is any place where players can buy or sell items free Runescape account of various kinds to a non-player character merchant. Generally shops will sell items for prices that are higher than purchasing them from another player, and will purchase items at a price that is less than you would typically be able to sell them for from another player. This isn't always true, but it is the basic philosophy behind the shops as found within the game.
A shop is often accessed via a merchant, who is (in this context) a non-player character. Players can left-click to talk to the character and ask to buy/sell items, but can also usually trade with the merchant directly by right-clicking and selecting the appropriate option from the context menu (see Game controls).

Personalised shops

Every store's stock is unique to each player. When a player buys or sells items to a shop, the quantity available to other players remains unchanged. This feature was changed as of an update on 2 September 2009. Prior to this, most shops sold an infinite quantity of certain smaller items.

Types of shops

Currently, there are 36 types of shops, not including The Grand Exchange.
One of the most basic is called a General Store, where players can buy some very basic and ordinary free Free runescape Accounts  items, and be able to sell almost anything that can be obtained in the game. Essentially if it can be traded with another player, it can be sold to a general store, with a few very minor exceptions related to a couple of quests.
Other shops include Jewellery Shops, Magic Shops, Food Shops, Weapons Shops, Armour Shops, and Shops dedicated to most of the skills. Some of these shops have a few "Free Sample items" which are designed to help out a brand-new player in becoming established within the game.
While it isn't consistent, sometimes shops of the same type have their inventory linked to each other. For example, if you buy arrows from an Archery shop and then travel to another archery shop in another part of the world, the arrows available to you will be only as many as if you simply waited for those arrows to be "restored" to the original stock quantity.

At the time of the creation of this, there are four different types of Dragon Weapons out there for those of you who have an Attack level of 60 or above, and who has beaten the Hero's and Lost City quests. But how do you know which one to use?
  We'll start off with the pros and cons of the different weapons -- Longsword, Battleaxe, Dagger, and Mace.
  Longsword - A fast weapon that deals a decent amount of damage. When I did this weapon test, I had a Strength level of 93. At the time, this weapon could hit a maximum of 24. It is also very accurate when it comes to slashing damage -- free Runescape accounts Dragon Weapon slashing damage is good against enemies in chains and enemies in leather armour, not against plated enemies.
  Special Attack: The Special Attack with the longsword is a more powerful strike that takes away 25% of your Attack Bar. This attack rarely (if ever) misses and can do more damage, but not always. In Attack Mode and Strength 95, I have hit 28 with this attack (I can usually only do 24 this way).
  Battleaxe - In RSC, this is the definite choice, but is it still all that great? The price is still 200,000, but it's not worth it. Not at a long shot. The slowest of the dragon weapons, and barely any more accurate than the longsword. At the Strength level I had when testing the weapons (93), I could hit a maximum of 26. This is higher than the longsword, but doesn't even out the slow attack rate. It is however good against plated enemies with the aggressive crush attack, as well as it is good against enemies in chains and/or leather armour. Sounds good, doesn't it? Well, it's not. Way too slow.
  Special Attack: Temporarily increases Strength by 20 and decreases Attack by 5. It costs all of the Attack Bar and is a good way to "pot up" if you don't have a Super Strength Potion. Note that if you use this together with a potion, it won't give you an extra effect.
  Dagger - Very weak, very cheap, very fast, and you can poison it. With Strength 93, I think the maximum I could hit was 18 or 19, and it has a very fast attack rate. It's accuracy is not the best, but good enough to hit at a decent rate. With poison, this weapon is proven to be great against high leveled enemies (100+). Against low-leveled enemies, it kills at the same rate as the battleaxe.
  Special Attack: A double attack (one attack that hits as if you attacked twice). This power pretty much works like the longsword and the dagger, only that it's divided up into two attacks at the same time, instead of one powerful attack. It costs 25% of your Attack Bar.
  Mace - Fast but not all that powerful, it does, however, have a Prayer bonus and it mainly attacks with crushing attacks. If you fight high leveled monsters using Prayer, this is the weapon for you. Unless that weapon is a dragon. Dragon leather protects well against the crushing attacks, but you can always use the controlled stab attack against them, so this might still come in handy.
  Special Attack: A single powerful swing that costs 25% of your Attack Bar, in the same fashion as the longsword.
  Most of the text above is just information taken out of the numbers. But how good do they prove to be in actual combat? I took an hour out of my busy life to test that. I spent 15 minutes with each weapon, fighting baby blue dragons (level 43). Here are the results, counted in kills (and time to bury the bones):
  Mace - 33 kills
  Dagger - 34 kills
  Longsword - 36 kills
  Battleaxe - 34 kills
  As you can see, it was very close. Sure, some weapons might've been lucky, but further testing proved these results to be fairly accurate. Please note that the dagger was not poisoned at the time, so you might want to add one more kill to the dagger's record.
  Another test I've done was Longsword vs. Battleaxe in a blue dragon (level 99) killing spree. I drank an attack and strength potion (which increased my Attack from 86 to 97 and Strength from 94 to 106), and then kept count of how many dragons I could kill before the potion affect was gone. Here are the results:
  Longsword - Eight kills
  Battleaxe - Four kills
  As it is with these short tests, some of it may be temporary luck, but Hell, twice as many kills with the Longsword? That's enough for me to sell off those battleaxes right away (well, you might want to keep one for the rare occasions when you need one; PKing in big teams, out of Super Strength Potions, fighting low-leveled NPCs, etc.).
  Summary: Prayer fighting (black demons, for an example), use mace in a combination with poisoned dagger (let the demon get poisoned, then you change to the mace to save Prayer points). Ordinary fighting, longsword. High leveled fighting without Prayer, poisoned dagger in a combination with the longsword. PKing, longsword and poisoned dagger (also, don't waste your super potions on people who are fighting dragons in the wilderness with robes on, they will run. Stab them in the back).
  Q: When should I use my Dragon Battleaxe?
  A: If you are fighting enemies that you can easily one-hit, or perhaps when PKing with a big team. It can also be good for its Special Attack, if you don't have any potions.
  And finally, a little pricelist:
  Dagger: 30,000 in Zanaris (Lost City), pay a diamond to get in. Worth it if you have weapon poison.
  Longsword: 100,000 in Zanaris (Lost City), pay a diamond to get in. Worth it.
  Battleaxe: 200,000 in Heroes' Guild. Not worth it.
  Mace: 50,000 in Heroes' Guild. Worth it if you use Prayer a lot.
  Ah, another thing. Dragon Spears Free Runescape Account.
  I haven't gotten the chance to use one myself yet, seeing as how I'm a poor bastard, but I have the technical information on one. They are rare drops, much like the dragon half shield. A fairly fast and powerful weapon, but with one negative aspect about it -- it can only be used for Controlled or Defensive fighting. It has one Defensive option and three Controlled options, but no Accurate or Aggressive ones. It is the ideal weapon for rich people who like to train Defence, though, so if you get one, it might be worth saving. The current price for one is about 3-4,000,000 GP.
  A thing I also should mention is that, just as any other spear, the dragon spear is a 2-handed weapon, so you cannot use a shield when wielding it.

Mining - Power mine iron with a rune pick in places where there's more than 1 iron rock to 90 or so, then coal is best.

Smithing - If you have a lot of spare cash, buy steel bars and make cannonballs or steel plates for free players. Otherwise, either use the ores you mine or buy and smelt/smith iron.

Fishing - fly fishing at Barbarian village is the best way to level. For members, use ShiloVillage and bank your fish. Free Runescape Accounts  leveling

Cooking - get 60 cooking by cooking the best item you can and then buy raw lobsters at 200-230 each (try and get a personal fisher) and cook your way to 99.

Fire making - really simple, just burn the best log you can and always burn in a place near the bank.

Woodcutting - get to level 30 using normals and then oaks then cut willows in DraynorVillage until 99. If you want, you can cut yews for money at 90+ at a very fast rate.

Crafting - buy tanned cow hides or normal hides at 150 for tanned or 100 for normal hides and make the best leather item until 99. You can also buy many silver bars and make tiaras to 99.

Rune crafting - this is slow unless you use one of the major companies. Go to world 16 and craft there by giving the runners 2k + essence back per run. This drains money fast if you are under 55, but once you get over it's a good way to make cash. If you don't want to do that, your best option is to either use the fire altar for members, or use the earth altar for free.

Combat - if you are member, use pest control. If you are free, get to level 60 or so combat and then train on flesh crawlers on the 2nd floor of the security dungeon.

Range - get to level 50 range and then camp at moss giants on Crandor until level 70 range. Then kill lessers until 99.

Prayer - if you are member, try to find an open gilded altar and bury dragon bones. If you are free, buy many big bones and bury at the bank booth.

Magic - get to level 25 magic using combat spells, then use the best teleport you can use until level 55. Then high alch until 99.

Pking, or player killing, is one of the most favorite pastimes in Runescape history. The deeper you go the harder it is to survive. Jagex, they creators of Runescape, created new items and armor to ensure the combat triangle to stay alive. Unfortunately, they did not count on people making hybrids to combat and destroy the combat triangle Free Runescape Accounts. Here is the most recent guide to defeating all and save money in the wild.
Ranger pures: Ranger pures enjoy their speed and mild damage in any battle. Also they have d-hide armor that protects them from mages in combat. Standard inventory for rangers include 24 food varieties and 3 teleport runes. They should have an empty space to pick up fallen arrows. Their armor should be d-hide chaps and vambraces. Their weapon of choice is definitely the bow. Arrows depend on the type of bow their using.
Ranger def: Ranger def are very good against def warriors and pures. They don’t do much damage considering how much a normal ranger should but they make up for that by using rune chains. Standard armor for def rangers should include either full d-hide or rune chain in place of d-hide for those who have not completed dragon slayer. They should wear rune full helm and amulet of accuracy. Their bow and arrow should depend on their range level though I recommend not becoming a ranger def until level 60 range.
Ranger mage: These rangers have the ability to take down warriors really well. They use range to annoy the enemy and take their health down to around 16 then mage them for an automatic hit. Defeating ranger mages take pures or def rangers because their d-hide can block them. Standard and recommended armor includes death Free runescape Accounts , air staff to trick opponent into taking off armor, power amulet, and d-hide chaps. Bow and arrow once again depend on the pkers level in range.
Ranger warrior: These are probably the most effective fighters on a non-member world. Their range is used to maintain a good speed and the 2-hand combo works well with ranger warriors. It is recommended to have 70+ strength and 60+ ranges before attempting this for the best performance. The bow should always be a short bow for maximum speed. Standard equipment is rune 2-hands, full d-hide, power amulet, bow and arrow, and rune full helm.
Warrior def: These warriors are very pesky to other pkers because of their defense. Fortunately for mages, they don’t hit high and def does not matter to mages because they usually hit them anyways. Standard armor includes full rune and rune chain in place of rune plate body in case they did not do dragon slayer quest. Rune scimitars are the most common weapons for them but long swords have better chances of hitting the opponent. Some def noobs bring rune 2-hands to do the combo. Amulet of strength, defense, or power is recommended. I recommend adamant armor because its very cheap compared to rune and still does a lot of def. Mages also can’t very well against adamant compared to rune even though they still hit them. It is recommended to also bring range armor like leather body so they can get defense against mage.
Warrior pures: this is considered the most effective and cheap pker at level 40-60. They can do immense damage to any type of pker except for def rangers and warriors. Also they should have 25 pray or more to keep their weapon in case of death. If you see a warrior pure, you really should not challenge him or her because they will waste your food and even if you were to win, they would keep their weapon. Recommended armor include mage robes, priest gowns, shade robes, or monk robes. They should also carry an iron kite as a shield for some def. You never really know when some def will come in handy.
Warrior mages: Warrior mages are very ineffective because their armor takes off mage attacks. NEVER BE A WARRIOR MAGE! IT IS A WASTE OF TIME, RUNES, AND ARMOR. YOU WILL LOSE ANY FIGHT AS A WARRIOR MAGE! BE WARNED.
Mages def: These guys will lose most fights because def waste their leveling and makes them vulnerable to stronger fighters. Never be one of these guys either.
Mages pure: These guys work well as a non-member until the level of 35. After a while, pures can defeat them. They can still defeat Def noobs until level 60+ Mages do work well in clans because they can bind. Mages are considered the most expensive and every 100-death rune used or 200 chaos runes used must be used with extreme caution. You don’t want to waste money.

How to Avoid Scams in Runescape

There are many ways RuneScape players choose to scams Free Runescape account or trick other RuneScape players for personal gain. Such dishonest methods can range from extremely simple to entirely complex. You'll be surprised by how elaborate a scammer's scheme might be. Either way, you must keep an eye out for such dishonest pixel-lovers...
Steps

1.Watch the second trade screen closely before accepting. The January 2nd update makes this scam impossible. Because you cannot trade out of the 3k limit (for non-members) and up to 30k for members. Even Mithril is worth more then 3k, so as stated before this no longer applies.
2.Report any trim offers immediately. The January 2nd update makes this scam impossible. All Black, Adamant, and Rune armor are all worth more than 3k, so you cannot trade those items without having equal value. And keep in mind that NO ONE can trim armour in RuneScape. Not even the JMods themselves (unless they have it with them already via magic backpack ^_^)...
3.Know what the "true" value of items are when trading. The January 2nd update makes this scam impossible. Whenever you trade an item it now shows the value of the item.
4.Avoid any and all "trust trades". This may sound like a broken record, but now thanks to The January 2nd update, it makes this scam impossible. You cannot give anyone more then 3k so trust tests cannot be done.
5.Beware of suspicious jobs. Do not attempt to take the Wine of Zamorak for anyone, unless you kill all of the monks first. If they say that you shouldn't kill the monks, ask them why they don't get it themselves, then leave. Taking the Wine of Zamorak without killing the Monks causes you Hit Point damage, as well as resulting in all of the monks attacking you. Another pointer is to be wary of a player asking you to do an odd task with them when in the Ardougne area, or anywhere else that contains trapped chests for the purpose of Thieving. One scam around them is telling the player that if they click to open the chest enough times, it will glitch RuneScape and give them a valuable item. Actually, it will just cause you a lot of hitpoints damage due to the trap being triggered. Beware of Runescape players that cozy up to you, act really nice and do you a few small favors but then turn around and ask for something really big (like a Free Runescape Account party hat) just because they did a couple of little things for you while playing the game. Remember that all Runescape trades are not equal. You might feel guilty about not giving people anything in return, which is perfectly normal. But if what another Runescape player asks for is ridiculous, just tell them no. Period. If they bully you or keep demanding an unfair Runescape trade just remove them or block them. Besides, nowadays, think of the bright side: uneven trades are almost impossible thanks to the half-loved/half-hated Trade Limit update (from late 2007). Beware of players asking you to smelt limestone if you are low on health. Limestone can cause a moderate amount of damage when smelted, and can kill a low level/player low on health.
6.Keep your password to yourself! This cannot be stressed anymore than it is. Treat your password like a credit card or social security number! Even if it's a relative or friend right next to you, one action may change your account significantly. People may say things like "Jagex blocks you from saying your password" or "You can't say your password backwords!" All they are trying to do is get you to say your password out loud so they can log onto your accoutn and change your password. It's so easy to do it's unbelievable.
7.Do not ever go to the wilderness to trade. Don't even come close to the ditch with your valuable items and money. Some players may say they want to trade somewhere close to the north but they are actually trying lure you into the north so that NPCs can kill you. Remember, the wilderness is the only place that is NOT secure for trading and you are likely to be killed by the renevant ghosts.
Tips
Don't listen to anyone asking to follow them. Most likely, they'll lead you to the Wilderness & kill you. A suggestion is to tell them that you need to go to the bank first & see how they react. Keep an eye out for your surroundings, if you do decide to follow someone else. Be aware of where you are going at all times. You should never go into an area with another player that you know contains hostile and high leveled creatures such as the Kalphite Queen.
Before agreeing to a trade on the forums, ask the player where the trade is going to take place. Sometimes players offer good items for a low price... But want you to meet them in the middle of the Wilderness. If that is the case, you can report them on the Forum Emergencies sticky in the General Forum.
You may also want to add the player that you are trading with to the friend list so if they log out and you don't remember their name you can always copy it from your friend list.
Don’t give to people who say statements like "I’ve been hacked", "I just got killed", or "I'm poor and need more items". They're usually lying, it would encourage more begging and scamming to give them items.
There are no cheat codes for RuneScape, and there are no way to get access to any.
Try to learn the scams which exist so that you are protected from them. If you check How to Scam in Runescape you will know about, and be protected, from many scams.

Clan Chat owners now have the option to use CoinShare, an addition to the LootShare system that was requested by many of you on the Forums.
To start CoinSharing, LootShare must be activated on your clan channel. You can then choose 'CoinShare' from your Clan Chat Setup interface. It is an entirely optional addition.
CoinShare has no effect on the majority of items; they will still be allocated to members of the clan channel according to how 'lucky' they have been with previous LootSharing monster drops.
